Privacy Notice

Last updated: 26 May 2026

This notice explains how FUNALYSE LIMITED ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales and the operator of Stockfluence (the "Service"), collects and uses your personal data. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

1. What we collect

  • Account data — email address, display name, avatar (where you choose to provide one), authentication identifiers.
  • Usage and telemetry — pages viewed, features used, device and browser type, IP address, approximate location, timestamps.
  • Watchlist & preferences — tickers and settings you save in the Service.
  • Support communications — messages you send us through the contact form.
  • Billing identifiers — a customer reference returned by our payment processor (Stripe). Payment card details are collected and held by Stripe, not by us.

2. How we use it

  • To create and operate your account and deliver the Service (legal basis: performance of a contract).
  • To process subscriptions, prevent fraud, and meet tax and accounting obligations (legal bases: contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests).
  • To improve the Service, analyse usage, and debug issues (legitimate interests).
  • To send essential service messages such as receipts, security alerts and account changes (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To respond to support enquiries (legitimate interests).

3. Who we share it with

  • Stripe — our payment processor. Stripe handles checkout, card processing, subscription billing, and invoicing, and acts as a separate data controller for that processing under its own privacy notice.
  • Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, authentication and analytics providers acting as our processors under contract.
  • Professional advisers — legal, accounting and compliance advisers where necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law or to protect rights, safety or property.

We do not sell your personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our processors may be located outside the UK / EEA. Where personal data is transferred internationally we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations or to resolve disputes. Billing records are retained for at least 7 years where required by tax law. Other data is deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.

6. Your rights

Subject to local law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. UK and EEA users have the right to lodge a complaint with their supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office). To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the in-app contact form. We will respond within one month.

7. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, role-based access controls, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a personal data breach affecting you, we will notify you as required by law.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We may use limited analytics to understand how the Service is used. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

9. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
